It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's a...
Boy???
Who can tell? It's really much too early to tell, but to go with Jess' symptoms not matching her pregnancy with Summer hint that it's a boy...and today was Jess' ultrasound.
This is what the doctor saw.

The doc outlined the buttocks, legs and, ahem...his(?) boyhood, so to speak.
Now, remember this is at only 11 weeks and a few days, and on average the time to determine sex is 16-20+ weeks...but the doc said the view was pretty good. So, we're cautiously optimistic. :-)
Also, they double check the size to determine the due date. The measurements also agree with the 24th...however, since this date is the day after Thanksgiving and people are on vacations, etc...the doc told Jessica they would likely induce the pregnancy on the 9th or 16th...if the baby doesn't come out on its own before then. So, basically no chance to have another holiday baby.
Next appointment is a standard check up in 3 weeks. The main ultrasound to check more for down syndrome and the like is around Summer's birthday in about 6-7 weeks. At that time we'll get another chance to see if it is a boy or a girl. We'll keep ya posted, of course!
Lastly, in the first post we mentioned Logan River was the boys name...well, that never felt totally right, so now we're leaning towards Jackson River. What do you think of that?
