Final Post

What? No pics? Nope, we're done here.

Jackson has been home quite a while now, or so it feels like, so he's beyond the pregnancy stage of blogging, and rightfully deserves his very own blog.

So, head over there, now and check out the pics and follow his first year!

Photo Dump

OK, this is a post where I am loading a lot of pics. Will load up more later, make sure to come back for more. Jackson, Summer and Jessica are all sleeping, so just putting up a few for now. Just click on the small thumbnail on the bottom of the big image to see that thumbnail image larger.

All of these photos are on flickr.com and can be viewed there and there is also more of a description there.

Even More Ready

So, Bob and Bumpa got here, took their naps and we went shopping. We got ACE the monkey for Jackson, but not much more. Jess had a few tough contractions, so we came home. On the way home we picked up Sum-Sum from daycare...but she was still sleeping.

Sum Not Awake
So, I lied next to her and slowly coaxed her awake. She was very dazed and confused.

When we got home we re-introduced Bob and Bumpa to Summer...and Summer got along swimmingly with Bob.

Summer Playing with Bob
So, yep, now we're REALLY ready. Jess is having more contractions...so, our baby Jack may come tonight, still...

We'll keep everyone posted, of course!

One More Day

Well, Little Jacky,

It seems you aren't going to be coming on your own. You're still giving Mommy lots of contractions, but nothing serious.

Bob and Bumpa are stuck on I-25, due to an accident. They're literally stopped on the freeway only 15 miles away, not moving. Yikes. Silly snow last night caused so many people to get in accidents over Monument Hill. When will these Coloradans learn to drive?

Anyway, we're going to go shopping and buy a few more things you'll be needing and making you a Monkey Build-a-Bear. :-D Do you like Ace for the Monkey's name?

OK, that's it, we're ready...tonight we call the hospital and see if they have room for us, and you'll come either tonight, or tomorrow morning. We can't wait!

See you SOON!!!!

Summer Loves her Brother

So, Summer has said Jack. Summer hugs and kisses Jackson, too. It's so cute. It is hard to get a picture of this...as I get up to get the camera Summer takes off after me, and when I'm there with the camera she wants to pose, not kiss her brother. I'm sure she doesn't know what she's really doing, and Jess jokes that Summer just thinks we named her belly, but either way, Jackson gets love from the whole family.

Here she is going in to give a kiss.

So Happy
Smiling up at Mommy.

Loving Family
And finally, just as pulling away from giving a kiss. Camera is too slow, especially with the flash and Summer being all squirmy.

Kissy Kissy
Anyway, Jackson, you've been giving Mommy a lot of contractions. We're getting scared/worried that you may be coming EARLY!!! Early, like we'll see you by this weekend. We just picked out the outfit you'll be wearing when we bring you home from the hospital. I need to take the car seat fabric out of the dryer and load up the cars with the bases and put in a pair of jeans and shirt for myself in our hospital bag. But, other than those couple of things, we are ready!

Tick Tock, Tick Tock...

37 Weeks

So, Jessica sent out this email, which basically describes where we're at...37 plus weeks! We're getting close!

First off, we had a doctor's appointment today and were advised that Jess could go into labor any day now. If we don't have Jackson by next Wednesday night, Jess will be admitted to the hospital for an induction to happen on Thursday. So Jackson will be here no matter what by November 16th. The doctor doesn't think Jess will even make it to next week's appointment which is on Tuesday. Yikes!!

Also, there are some new photos which have been added to our Web Baby Shower message board. If you have not visited recently, please go to: Web Baby Shower.
Anyway, in addition to the appointment we took another picture of Jess' belly.

Ready to Pop
We're very excited to see you soon, which we've said before...but, we're also scared about what will happen with your big sister when we head to the hospital. We'd like family here to watch you, but that may not be possible, especially with everything going on. Everyone has something happening that they can't be here now. However, we may be able to get Grandpa Mark and Grandma Debbi here next week...but, as Jess' email points out...you may not wait that long.

So, please, just hold in there. Well, don't really...we want you to come when you're ready...but next week would be so much better, OK? ;-)

Sleep well...anxiously waiting...
